Whispered prayers on edge of night,

We prayed for her with all our might,

God did answer; he’d heard our plight,

She was given from heaven’s height,

Tiny girl, pink and bright,

Rosebud lips in the light,

In our arms and in our sight,

In our embrace we hold her tight,

Now we bask in her delight!
